FULFILLMENT OF THE ABOVE REQUIREMENTS IS THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE STUDENT. THE FUNCTION OF THE ADVISOR IS PURELY CONSULTATIVE.
– Students are obliged to complete all the courses shown in the table above. It is not sufficient to earn an equivalent number of credits.
– Students who have passed BUEPT with a grade of C- are required to take AE 101 and AE 102. Others must take a course with an AE code or an English language and literature course (EL, AL, LIT, ENGL, LING, CL, DRA) other than AE 101 and 102.
– Hum. (humanities) electives should be selected from among humanities, history and philosophy courses.
– Dep. (departmental) electives should be selected from among sociology courses.
– Comp. (complementary) electives should be selected from among history, philosophy, psychology, economic and political science courses. Consent of the advisor is required.
– Unrest. (unrestricted) electives can be taken from any department. However, students are allowed to take at most 3 PA (Pass/Fail) courses to be counted for graduation credits. 3 PA courses can be counted as 2 Unrest. Electives. Alternatively, if a course that has 4 credits is counted for the slot with 3 credits, the extra credit might be combined with a PA course for an Unrest. elective. Consent of the advisor is required.
– PE courses are not counted for graduation credits.
– Students can not take both Math 106 and Math 101 due to overlapping course content. Therefore, students are required to select only one of the two courses.
