Call for Applications - Summer School Instructors

Our department is now accepting applications from qualified instructors from other universities in Turkey or abroad to teach courses in the upcoming Summer School as visiting instructors. Applicants must have successfully passed their doctoral qualifying examination in Sociology, Anthropology, or a related field, or be at a later stage in their academic career. The courses will be conducted in English.

Eligible candidates should:

• Have completed the doctoral qualifying stage,
   
• Possess academic expertise and teaching experience relevant to the proposed course,
   
• Submit a course proposal that aligns with the department’s academic scope.

Required Documents:

1. Curriculum Vitae (CV)
2. Proposed course title, brief description, and weekly syllabus

Application Deadline: 1 December 2025

Applications should be submitted via soc@bogazici.edu.tr. All applications will be reviewed by the department, and shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
